Traditional Tales

Traditional tales have been used within literacy lessons for years. The familiar stories are an easy way to capture children’s interests and explore concepts like reading, story-writing and comprehension. To bring these traditional tales alive, teachers may ask children to act out stories with puppets or re-enact the tale using masks, toys or fancy dress.
