My Family Theme

It's all about me and my family! An important topic covered within the EYFS, ‘My Family’ enables children to reflect and discuss their family dynamic while learning what makes everyone similar and different.

As youngsters grow and develop, all sorts of curious questions spring to mind as an attempt to make sense of their own identity and understand the world better. Our selection of resources provides the provisions for you to spark friendly conversations and explore relationships in any early years setting. All families are different and yet in many ways the same! From learning about the modern family and people with disabilities to families that exist around the world, there are plenty of resources that will allow you to celebrate the uniqueness of family and individuality.
