Numicon

Our EYFS numicon resources are a must-have resource for your early year's maths curriculum. Numicons are flat plastic shapes with holes in them, with each shape representing a number from 1 to 10 and has its own colours. 

Numicons help develop a strong foundation for maths learning and lets children explore mathematical concepts using a concrete-pictorial-abstract approach. The concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach helps children develop an understanding of numbers by introducing written numbers in a tangible way through objects such as Numicons. 

Our range of EYFS numicon resources ranges from numicon shapes which cover numbers from 1-10, Numicon baseboards which can be used alongside our various coloured pegs to create shapes and display number lines which are labelled with numicon shapes that allow children to see what shapes are associated with what numbers.
